Chris Pronoger been given medical clearance to join team in ATL. Forget about trying to get to BOS
Chris Pronger, no doubt aided by the getwell cards, wellwishings and just thegeneral positive vibes sent his way by thousands of hockey fans all across the league, was examined by the doctor today, and cleared to begin light skating on his own.
No time table was set for the return of Pronger who then took the microphone from the podium and cross checked the doctor in the back of the neck.

Mon, Jan 17
D Chris Pronger is recovering nicely from a fractured bone in his foot and could return to the lineup as early as Tuesday night against the Washington Capitals. Pronger skated for the sixth consecutive day on Saturday in Central Park and although it was a loosely played scrimmage he moved around the ice well for someone who had surgery on Dec. 17. If Pronger is ready to play on Tuesday, Matt Walker is likely to take a seat in the press box after just three games in the lineup after returning from surgeries to both hips.

Yep. Pronger got a nice headstart because as soon as he was cleared to resume light skating, he began incorporating working with pucks into his routine (he apparently has his own).
He says there's bound to be some pain and swelling once he returns, ...and that he expects to experience some discomfort as well.

Hit in the face from follow through. Not playing now.
Just saw it and came to post. He went to the dressing room very quickly - noone knows where in the face he got hit.
They think it was an eye or forehead by Graboski's stick
WTF is wrong with these Toronto players. 3. high stick in the first period now.
Here's hoping it's just stitches.
Stick to the eye. Not good people.

Still not on the bench.
Not a dirty play, just unfortunate.
"We've had a couple shakers in this place. This year we haven't had the time. We had a couple good ones last year, right?" - Phil Kessel
Yeah there was no penalty.
Pronger was taken to the hospital. Not dirty at all, it was a follow through on a shot. Grabovski looked like he felt awful after.

Heh, I can't help but smile every time Pronger gets injured. Biggest pile of dung in the league, deserves every injury that happens to him.
GO WINGS!
Will not return. By the way no player deserves an injury. Kind of a dick comment. Wishing injuries on someone shows that you are nothing but a fool
