Daniel Sedin for Doughty + Cammaleri?

Hi all,

I'm in a straight up 1-year 15-team points only yahoo league. You can change your lineup daily and there are max games played per position (C, LW, RW, D, G). I missed the draft day so ended up with a pretty terribly balanced team heavy on D & G, light everywhere else. My plan is to try and max out my LW & D games played ASAP then trade them all for RW & C. Keeping this all in mind I've been offered D. Sedin for Cammaleri & Doughty.

My team is:
C - Peverley
LW - Cammalleri, Lucic, Penner, MacArthur, Cole
RW - Langenbrunner, Backes, Brouwer
D - Doughty, Pronger, Chara, Girardi, Shattenkirk, Phaneuf, Stralman
G - Lundquist, Luongo, Brent Johnson, Osgood

His team is:
C - Richards, Savard, Bergeron
LW - D. Sedin, Lupul, Gagne, James Neal, Sturm, Prospal
RW - Semin, Callahan, Samuelsson, Erat
D - Lidstrom, Goligoski, Andy Greene, Justin Braun
G - Brodeur, Quick, Dubnyk, Hedberg, McElhinney

So... Do I accept the trade or tweak it?

If you are short on LW, then I am not sure exchanging a LW for another LW (albeit a better one) is really accomplishing what you want it too. As well, if you were going to move a D, I'd try and capitalize on Sharrenkirks hot streak. Doughty is bound to pick things up, so I'd much rather hold on to him. Maybe try and go after someone a little lower key than Sedin, like Neal.

15 man league...deep benches...ton of depth on your D unit I see DOughty as easily expendable and Sedin as a monumental u[grade over Cammy...as much a 30+ point upgrade...def would do it

Daniel Sedin is an incredible upgrade over Cammy, plus I could imagine there are decent waiver options to replace Doughty. I think if you were drafting a team now, D. Sedin could easily be a top 5 draft pick.
