I guess the best thing KO has going for him is that he's only 22, so his body should recover better than if he was in his late 20s....(one would think). Though he is already adding up some injuries early on in his career....

Okposo (shoulder) practiced with the team for the first time since his injury Wednesday, according to Newsday.
Recommendation: Okposo is still a few weeks away from returing to game action, perhaps late January or early February. The Isles had originally expected Okposo to return in mid-December but that was obviously just a bit optimistic.

RW Kyle Okposo, who has been sidelined all season following training-camp shoulder surgery, has resumed practicing with the team and is closing in on a return later this month. "It's probably still a couple of weeks, but maybe next week, you never know," Okposo said Thursday. "I've got to work on a couple more things, get a little bit stronger, get some contact and I'll be good to go ... I wanted to have a really good year, a really solid year. There's still a little bit of time to do that, and hopefully I can get back soon and show what I can do."

Okposo (shoulder) will play Thursday against the Capitals, the Islanders' official site reports.
Recommendation: Okposo, who racked up 52 points in 80 games with the Isles last season, could help out those in deeper leagues, but his plus/minus figures (he was minus-22 last season) will be a concern on a team that has exactly zero players with a plus-rating.
