I don't think it's crazy but I'd have a real tough time making the move. Some quick math suggests you can afford to swap Foster for Whitney instead, which looks like a much more promising move.
I am thinking of dropping Weber for Whitney... Weber's +- is killing me and our only cats are points and +-.
I will not win this year... But i see more offense coming from Edmonton than I do for Nashville.
Am I crazy?

I have to sign Parise next year.. So i think he makes 6.5M. Voracek goes to 3M. I just realized one way or another... I won't keep any expensive D.
Could help you this year though and seems like Frolov at 3M is a much better drop option to get get under the cap. You need productive D and unfortunately the only way to get them is either on a rookie contract or to pay the price. Weber at 4.5 should normally be fairly efficient as far as D go.
I wouldn't....
Crazy, no... I'd think it's a hard decisions. But in essentially points only, Whitney's a good pick.
I need help on this... Do I drop Weber for Whitney? Points and +- are the cats.
Whitney has more points than Weber, a much better +/- and slightly more PIMs (if that matters), and hes .5 million cheaper.
sounds like an easy choice for me.
