Johnny Boychuk's value

Another owner in my league has been trying to get Johnny Boychuk off me for almost a week now. I've relented because ever offer he's sent has been total shit. Now suddenly he sent me a more intriguing offer of a third round pick in next year's draft. As a comparison I took Boychuk with the second last pick in the second round of this year's draft, but considering how the draft ended up going I likely could have gotten him later.

Boychuk clearly won't be a keeper for me and he's not producing this season, although part of that could be the injury that sidelined him nearly a month. The only way Boychuk's getting into my lineup is as an injury replacement.


I checed the waiver wire and possible bench replacements if I dealt Boychuk include Ballard, Ericsson, Corrente, Sbisa, Poti and Tyutin.

Yea unless you're competing and he'll put you over the top, might as well get a pick out of him.
