Default Byfuglien, a great bate ?

I guys, I own Byfuglien in my team right now and I was wondering if he will really stay on this pace or should I use this unbeliveble streak and try to grab some young player like Hall, Eberle, Subban, etc

Whta do you guys think ?

If you can get a young stud like Tavares, Hall, Eberle, Duchene...I would certainly do it.
Buff had another big day today and is on fire so far...I highly doubt he'll keep this pace up but he's going to have a fine year...

Sell him while he's hot but don't get me wrong this guy is probably going to have a 60+ point season the way he's going but go grab Eberle and some other prospects and you will be laughing

As long as Buff stays listed as D he will put up sick points for a defenseman. It seems as if he fits Atlanta perfect and I suspect he will be a 60 plusser and will be among the top scoring defensemen this season. If you could get a stud, go for it. If not, keep Big Buff.

It will be impossible for Buff to keep up his current pace, that being said I believe he's for real and will finish north of 60 points. So it all depends on what you'd get back. For a young stud I would see what's out there, why not, otherwise I wouldn't move him.

Where I come from, 'bate' means something quite different from 'bait'.

I highly doubt he will keep up this pace, but even if slows down a bit he should still be an extremely valuable D to have. There are just not that many D in this league that can have an impact in fantasy, so I would just be careful about what you do. I understand the whole sell high concept, but at the same time, why get rid of guys if they are important for your team? I would not be trading him for any of the young guys mentioned here, but thats just me.

And maybe its just based on the leagues I am in- prospects are just not all that valuable. They are 10 team leagues, and one is a keeper but you only keep 6. I would MUCH rather have a guy doing well now than a young guy that may be good 2-4 years down the road. Sure, Hall, Eberle and others may be good in the future, but I will worry about that when it happens. Byfuglien is doing well now, and D are hard to come by, so I will be sticking with him.

    Trade "Buffy the Pool Slayer"?

No way, this guy is single-handedly making a huge impact in all my pools....Go Buffy!

What's not to like, big, great shot, offensively aware. The stint at forward has really elevated his game.

    Keep him.

I will just echo what most of already said.

    - probably wont keep this pace but hes gonna do great this year. anywhere from 62-67 pts IMO.
    - crazy value if hes listed as a D/RW in your pool
    - if you are looking to win this yr... you shouldnt trade him
    - if you can grab a young stud like Hall and are kinda in a rebuild mode, i would do that. I dont think at this pt I would take Subban unless you are definitely in a rebuild mode.

No he won't keep his pace up but treat him as a top 10 (atleast, possibly higher) dman in a keeper league if you're thinking about trading him.

Just traded him along with Morrow for Kovalchuk.

I dont see any reason why he wont keep up this pace, he is killing it. Just 7 more points and he's up with his last year total. Unless his ice time gets cut or he gets dropped to a bumb line then he should keep up this pace.
