Matt Carkner will be a healthy scratch on Friday.
Carkner has two assists and 53 penalty minutes in 22 games this season. "The last few games he’s struggled a little bit," Cory Clouston said. "And we want to create more offense." Clouston added that he's not trying to send Carkner a message.
