When I asked if ChuckC meant Jones was the Oiler's 3rd best D, simply to clarify if that's who he was talking about, you said it appeared I didn't watch many Oilers games. I figured you meant that Jones was terrible and not deserving of the label "3rd best D". Or maybe you're agreeing that he clearly is. So when Chuck doubled down on the assertion I figured there was a rebuttal coming. Thus my "Over to you" comment. Whatever.

Jones...should he be getting healthy scratched or not? That's where we are now.

Upcoming series against the Flames will be telling. Will this team put some space between them and the back of the pack, or get whacked and fall back towards the bottom.

Based on the way the team has played lately I am pretty confident that make the playoffs.

It'll going to be a great battle for the final spots in this division. Montreal is slowing down now too so maybe the bottom 3 are wide open.

Has another team been as up and down as the Oilers? Have they had a winning or losing streak longer than two games? I feel like they are going to split every series except with Ottawa and it's leading to a 5th place finish.

I feel like Calgary and Winnipeg have been similar though and that's exactly who they're going to be neck and neck with all year.

I’m not counting on it. It’s looking good but just as you say - no jinxing it!

Both of the Oilers' win streaks were Ottawa related, which was part of my point. They've been splitting everything but those Ottawa games. And not getting loser points in the splits.

Solid defensive game and a good start. Need to win tomorrow.

Think that will be the last time I give the Cassie Campbell/Rick Ball combo any more air time though. I'll just delay the video broadcast and turn on the radio. Those two are atrocious.
