Looks like Lindgren starts Tuesday. WTF? No confidence to start him in a B2B situation because, well, it's Lindgren. Yet now he gets a start when there's a guy in the minors who did nothing to not deserve some NHL starts.

This season is beginning to circle the drain.

It’s really too bad they don’t have any 2nd or 3rd rd picks or cap space to go get one more NHL level left D.

Swap Domi and Suzuki. Here comes another loss. Might as well tank. Sell off what few aging assets we have and go for a lottery pick. Ask Price to be patient for one more year. Bergevin must be like King Arthur in Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail. Except instead a 3/5 issue he said 5 when he meant 8....years.

And now Kovalchuk? Really? Let the kids play and get a lottery pick. The playoffs waived bye bye when Mete got hurt and Bergevin did jack shit. This is all a day late and a dollar short.

Just a guess here but it I think Kovalchuk starts on Kotkaniemi's wing. Sheltered line and moving Poehling down to L4 makes sense given his lack of production.

PP1 I could see. I’d much rather see a faster skater on that line. At least he’s not with Domi so 2/3rds of the line will back check.

17 looked good in his first game but the Habs just don't have the scoring depth right now to keep up with any team; not with Gally and Drouin out.... and Armia was having a great year too. I think this year is toast.

Good effort from the former perennial all-star tonight tho. Weber passed up a lot of shots needlessly, I thought. Especially on the PP.

    Oh well.

That was my thought too, Weber needed to take the big shot when he had the chances. Habs need to score some rebound, garbage, tip in goals off the big shot.
