Price being back is obviously great news but I'd like to see him split starts with Lindgren for a couple weeks. Waive/demote Niemi even after he played a pretty strong game.

What’s the record for a goalie playing on x-different teams in 1 season or 1 year? If/when Niemi gets waived, I have a feeling he will get picked up. He played well, although that non-goal in the last minute was sketchy. I never understand it when goalie interference is the call when the goalie is "interfered" with OUTSIDE the blue paint. Reinhart was clearly not in the blue paint and Price came out to challenge and the two players collided. The blue paint is meaningless on these calls and I don't understand why that is.
It's like when goalies are off-limits to hits even when they are out of their crease playing the puck. I hate that too. The blue paint is his, I get that, but if you are going to leave the comforts of the blue paint all bets should be off. That's just my opinion on this, and I am a goalie who likes to come out of his net to play the puck too.

The overturned goal is in line with other overturned calls I've seen of late. But it really doesn't matter. The game was decided and Price was outstanding regardless.
