I'd like to give Hudon a real chance so either dman is fine with me.

    Emelin could make sense actually.

He's grossly overpaid, but on the last year of his contract. He could draw some interest at the trade deadline, particularly if LV can retain some salary.

I'd rather Davidson sticking around a bit more. His play was mediocre, but he came in with a good reputation and I wonder if it's not a case of needing more time to adjust to a new system.

Didn't Davidson also have a major injury? Probably needed more time to get back in top shape. He was good in Edmonton at one point.

So, who do you think gets picked. I could see de La Rose, Hudon or Davidson for a young player or Emelin or Plekanec if it's a vet.

My pick would be Plekanec. Even though you're building for the future, you need a few vets to guide your young players during what will be a difficult season. Although he's overpaid and had a rough season, Pleks is a heck of a good player and could be a calming influence on a young core. Plus his contract is expiring.

Gotta think it's gonna be Pleks, he's the most valuable asset in the fact that they can move him at the deadline with only 1 year left on that contract.

    Today is gonna be fun

The rumor is Emelin or Davidson. I'm thinking Emelin.

I'm thinking dman, mostly because McPhee has said he's taking a glut of them.

Up to about two weeks ago, I was pretty certain it was going to be De La Rose. Hudon makes sense too.

I really don't see how De La Rose interests Vegas. I don't think he interests the Habs much either.

Was listening to 91.9 earlier today (at around 2pm) and they said that close sources confirmed that Hudon was safe and that Davidson WAS the pick. I guess we will have to see but until now, a lot of the leaks have been confirmed...
