Funny story about this goal: My dad dislikes Eller. Saw him stickhandling like a fool again and nearly lose the puck. I stupidly said don't worry that's how the play was drawn up. Five seconds later DLR scores his first NHL goal.

Good call though posting this on the right day!

DSP was not overly visible yesterday but did lead the team with four hits which was expected. I can see him bouncing around the lineup in the next week or two as he figures out where he fits on this team.

Tinordi sent to AHL. I'm guessing this means Gonchar is returning. Might just mean that Weaver gets back in the lineup too...

Just to get people in the mood for trade deadline day tomorrow, here are some rumours concerning the Habs. Just remember last year that MB was a surprise winner of the Vanek sweepstakes, and he's usually good at making deals without it getting out to the media first.

Montreal has spoken to Edmonton about Petry. Pierre LeBrun.

Leafs wanted Gallagher for Lupul. Montreal said no. Leafs also interested in Eller. Fourth Period.

This is a few days old: "The Canadiens have reportedly expressed interest in the likes of Toronto Maple Leafs winger Joffrey Lupul, Edmonton Oilers right wing Jordan Eberle, Arizona Coyotes defenseman Keith Yandle, and Coyotes forward Antoine Vermette." Fourth Period.

Also a few days old. "I’m hearing Canadian world junior goalie Zach Fucale could be in play in any trade talks with the Montreal Canadiens in the summer because there is no way Fucale will ever be more than a backup with the team as long as Hart Trophy candidate Carey Price is minding the store. If so, you can bet the Edmonton Oilers would be interested. They wanted Fucale at the 2013 National Hockey League entry draft, picking 37th, but Montreal shocked them by taking the teenager one spot ahead of them. Fucale goalie is playing for the Memorial Cup host Quebec Remparts." Edmonton Journal.

I think if someone wants Fucale that badly make it happen. Could help the team. Habs are fine with Condon and Tokarski in the pipeline plus they can go the College/Europe route to find more prospects.
