We're pretty much there already. Without Weber and Mete the D looks like an expansion team.

Are there any Bergevin supporters left in Montreal? Is there any confidence that he can turn this around?

Probably not many and certainly not me. I think we’re due for a major cleanup imo.

Bergevin lost support with the Subban trade. Weber is awesome but when you do a trade like that you better be right. And here we are.

Yes. Quite a few of them actually. Especially on Twitter. There are plenty that still defend him vigorously.

This seems like an insult to the highly successful Golden Knights franchise

All the twitter support must be aliases that Geoff Molson is using. He's about the only one left with any confidence in Bergevin,

Nope. You'd be surprised. These are people I've followed for years.

It's weird. If they were competitive and losing, it would be different. But they aren't competitive for most games, except for 10 minutes here or a period there.

They're a bubble team with their key players in place so this isn't surprising given what has happened to Price and Weber. This team is so top-heavy. One key injury derails everything. Better teams do a better job recovering.

The Habs need to sign David Musil and run a Mete-Musil pairing. They'd never get stuck in their own end.

They skate and get shots but nothing ever goes in. They can not score. And then the other team pops an easy one like Thornton did last night and it's all over. No confidence, no size, no center, no chance. Oh and the D without Weber is a complete shambles. The fact that Bergevin still has a job boggles the mind.
