Zib lost something like 15 pounds to covid, changed his training routine and missed training camp. I'm surprised he came around at all this season.

He is still consistently missing that one timer on the PP from around the dot. Not sure how much longer that is going to take...

the buy low on him window is now officially closed

rangers are just a couple dmen and some consistency away from being really good. i still dont understand why they traded brady skjei haha

i do think buchnevich will end up being a cap casualty sooner rather than later though.
One day I will quit fantasy hockey, today is not that day.

I think the development of Tony DeAngelo was a lot to do with Brady Skjei being moved.

TD, Trouba, Miller, Fox. That's a solid young D core if TD wasn't shoved out the door.

All they need is a healthy Shesterkin and they will make a run.

I agree can DQ and make Drury the coach!!

The issue at MSG has been at center since forever
Even going back to the cup run with Stepan and Brassard

    Center is the issue

yes the backline is looking very promising and is much improved after Lindy Ruff moved over to Jersey
Its an improving part of the overall team

Now with Zib apparently over his Covid issues, Chytil (who also had covid) back in the saddle and Strome signed for another 1.5 seasons
The time is ripe for making a move on a center

    Or draft one I suppose

Yup I agree I think Buchnevich is gone by the deadline

The only reason imho he isn't will be because Gorton and the braintrust didn't find an adequate return from their dance partner

Who knows, maybe they keep him and try to manage the extensive wing collection they have acquired

    I thought I had

Right now NY is using 4 forwards on the PP on most nights

Miller is really shaping up into a nice NHL defenseman but I wouldn't say he is fast tracked for the powerplay. I think in a perfect world Miller will nail down a spot on the top pairing.
Fox is more of a PP specialist with such great puck skills that he doesn't really need to have a physical style of play in order to be competitive.

If Lundkvist comes in and is given a chance at PP minutes he could run with it. The issue will be if coach decides to let him play with the extra man. Currently that is Adam Fox

Tough to say but its a good problem for NY to have

NY's issue since forever has been at center so maybe one of those guys turns into a pivot down the road
I think they'll have Eichel as a centerman soon enough .

Of course if and when coach Quinn is fired then all bets are off, but I'd still wager that Fox is a virtual lock for PP1
which means the other guys are battling for either the other spot or PP2

and there is still Trouba in the mix too

    and Tony D... err not

    NHL:

    Adam Fox :

31 TEAMS keep all multi-cat (lot of them) dynasty
Offensive stats : Goals, Assist , PPP, PPTOI, SOG...
Defensive stats : PKTOI, BLKS, TakeAway, Giveaway...
    (basically best NHL player)

With Lemieux gone, the team loses some physicality which has often been an issue for the team

A 4th line player who perhaps will get a better opportunity in LA

    Kravtsov on immediate arrival

Brendan Lemieux requested trade before Rangers dealt him to Kings
