Hey guys, really quick. About to acquire Semin. I need to decide which D Man in the deal I'm sending back.

So who would you rather own in the keeper listed in my sig. Enstrom or Kaberle?

I would rather Enstrom but I suspect I may be a minority. Atlanta is looking like they are developing into a good team. He has #1pp and tonnes of icetime. Kaberle is a king in Toronto as far as fantasy hockey goes but he still plays on Toronto....

I would also go with Enstrom as well though Kaberle will likely get traded to a contender. You can't really go wrong with either one though.

Depends on whether you're in contention.

Am I missing something on this one?
Enstrom had more points and more PPPs last year, and is ahead by 50% this year. He is 7 years younger and playing on a better team. He's the better option, certainly for future but present as well.

In a sufficiently deep keeper league, I certainly agree with you. In a 1-year league, totally disagree, I would not trade Kaberle straight up for Enstrom despite his somewhat slow start, even if he were not traded, but the fact that he will most likely be traded at the deadline (or before) settles it for me.

Cue the "of course, it's because you own him" blather.

Kaberle short term? Not sure about that. They were a wash last year and this year Enstrom is distancing himself from Kaberle. I like Enstrom better across the board here.

Nice job Giles, remain silent when offered a bet and then pipe up when the bet works your way.
