anyone have any input? Come on, someone's gotta be able to help me out here
When is Ekman Larsson coming back to the NHL? Is he in the AHL for this season now, or what? I am currently tied for 2nd in a points league, and need to decide if I want to carry dead weight, or if I want to pick up another guy
names on the FA list are:
Jovanovski,
Bieksa
Montador
Girardi
Methot
Kuba
Seidenberg
Corvo
just to name a couple.
If I keep him for next year, is he going to be producing then or is he still a few years away? It is a limited keeperleague, and I would keep Ekman if he will produce next year, but if not I will draft someone else.
Any insight, or info is much appreciated!

How many keepers are you allowed?
It's somewhat of a tough call. It seems like if you stick with him, it should be for the longhaul. I'd dangle his name on the market before you dropped him though.
12 tm pts only dynasty

G (count 2): Askarov, Wallstedt, Wolf, Kochetkov, Levi
3 round draft and 1 waiver per team per year
His contract has already kicked it, so I'd view it similar to the way Ottawa handled Karlsson last season. Sending him to the minors for a decent stint and bringing him back up towards the end of the season.
This is the new World order of Fantasy Hockey, brother.

Dutch, I would be patient here. None of those FA defensemen wow me and OEL has tremendous (not just good) upside. It may take him a couple of years but I think OEL will be one of those players GMs regret giving up.

First to answer some of your questions
The number of keepers is a total amount of points determined by half of the winner's total point total (makes sense?)
generally between 10-13 players. I usually only keep Weber, but if OEL is gonna be cheap to protect (10-15 pts) I will probably do that. However, since I am in 2nd at the moment, I can't really afford dead weight on my team to push for first.
I tried trading him, but no one is interested except a guy who is willing to give me Mccabe for him. He also has Byfuglien or Wideman who I can try to get.
This year I am "accidentally" in contention, but I was supposed to contend next year. So I don't want OEL to produce 5 years from now, I kinda need him now or next year.
So with that being said,
Still saying that I should keep him? Or trade him for some other defender trying to win this year.
Thanks
