Default Is it time to move EJ??

I'm having brain cramps on this one and need some help! I've been hanging on to EJ for 3 years now but I'm getting worried that he is not going to be the Fantasy Monster that most thought he would be. The situation in St Lou doesn't seem to favour EJ becoming the "monster". I've been offered Anthony Steward or Lucic (both have the numbers I need this year), do I pull the trigger or should I be patient with the confidence that EJ will be a fantasy stud for years to come?

If you want to trade EJ then by all means please aim higher than Stewart or Lucic.

I personally think EJ will be just fine and grow into a top D. I would hold on to him and ride it out, hell - you've come this far in 3 years, and have not gotten alot of production, so why jump ship now? Hold on a while longer , or as I said if you deal him, get much more in return than that of either Stewart / Lucic

Just traded EJ this week. I still believe he will eventually become a very good NHL D-man although not the very high points threat I initially anticipated. He will be more of an all-around guy (IMO) that does everything well. To give you an idea of his value, I managed to get Seguin for him (thinking long term of course). I strongly believe that you can still get more that the offer you have on the table right now.

I'm also tring to trade EJ as well. I'm strong on the back end and picked up Pietrangelo. Who I think will be the better D-man. Aim higher than those guys. I have an offer on the table for Giroux...EJ Vanek 4 Giroux.

If you can get a little more than Lucic, do it. The highest you'll probably get straight up is in the range of Franzen to C Stewart, depending on how hard a good dman is to get in your league.

Wow, I could not give EJ away in either of my leagues and he is sitting on the free agent list now and nobody is going to touch him. Cannot believe someone traded you Price for him! Nice move on your part!

EJ may someday become awesome but I for one was done sitting and waiting while he continue on pace for like 10 points. The guys I replaced him with have more points this week than he had all season!

Solid D? Yes. But again, I will believe he is a top offensive D when I see it.

Someone would have to be reallllllly drunk to trade Chris Stewart for EJ.

And I would rather have Lucic right now than EJ, too.

I agree with Lucic especially if PIM's are a cat. I moved EJ in my keeper with Kovalchuk for a better priced Loui Eriksson.
