I personally would not do that as I dont see a large enough spread between Malkin and Semin.
The move makes you very weak at RW which is strange for a pretty strong posiiton? and the upgrade at centre is not signifcant enough to make the move.
Malkin
for
M. Koivu
Semin
Thinking of offering this to someone in my league. I would be getting Malkin.

Take Malkin here. Semin will eventually get traded or will leave via FA so his production will drop. Malkin's a top 3 player.

while i would usuaally take malkin side in any of these deals when you include semin i am hesitant. I love yahoo's comment today about semin.. he is on a hot streak... its funny bc when is semin not on a hot streak: the answer is when he is injured. but besides his injury concerns which so far so good this season he is always producing in some way. if its not putting up points every game he is getting you 5-6 shots a night or PIMs. this guy always does something.
while the above comment says he is an FA at the end of this year leaving washington might actually be a good thing for this guy. it is not necssarly the bad thing. just see that whenever ovechkin and backstrom go cold the coach always puts semin on there line and BAM they all totaly 8 points a game.
so yeah ive been saying it time and time again semin is a key player in washingtons offense and they will suffer without him.
wow i digress. so yeah back to this. in a limited keeper league you try to consolidate our assests but koivu, looking to be over a PPG in min, your best center and your best RW might not be the smart move here.
see if you can offer him hossa instead
