being offered Whitney for Letang. Letang is 10th round and Whitney 9th round.

    My D are the following:

    Pitkanen
    Letang
    Bogosian
    Giordano

    Gilbert

    Thanks in advance...

I'm a Whitney fan but what I have seen out of Letang says Whitney isn't a better choice - Letang would be my call too.

    Letang for this year
for beyond, idunno Edmonton is going to be a pretty unreal team, in the future, and Whitney will be the man on the point, playing with Hall, Eberle, Paarjarvi
letang(playing with crosby/malkin) still better in the future but the gap isnt all that big in my opinion for the reason above

If the Whitney owner is looking to move him, I'd be interested in buying him low right now. I'll tell you, watching Whitney's 59 point season here in Pittsburgh, if given a chance with that talent on Edmonton, he could really end up being better than the majority of his fantasy owners expect right now. I think Letang is too much to pay because he's younger, on the Pens, off to a great start -- he's on the rise. Whitney has had a better start to this season than last, but, I think you should be able to get him for less unless this GM is a big believer. If you could secure him for less, I think its a good gamble. The guy's got major offensive skill.
