yikes.
I'd have to go with Pavelec. It may be a gamble, but you know what RDP will give you.....nothing overly awesome.
I know, not really an embarrassment of riches, but I'm trying to minimize the damage in a league that counts Save %.
I don't feel comfortable with RDP against the Flyers, but both teams played last night so it could be a low scoring affair. On the other hand we have Pavelec coming back after this little incident. Historically he's played the Blues well (only 2 games to base that on) but the Thrashers will be a tired team coming in to play a well rested St. Louis.
Basically I hate both options! What the best of two evils?

That's like asking a condemned man how do you want to die, poisoned or shot?
I'll also say Pavelec here. So far this year RDP's SV% hasn't been good and given that the Isles are playing the back end of a back to back, I could see fatigue maybe being a possibility that exposes RDP to more shots on goal than average. They've played three games in four days so it's a possibility that can't be totally ruled out.
The flip side is there's nothing to see as far as numbers this year for Pavelec. In that case I'd look back to preseason numbers or his numbers at from last year. Since I don't have Pavelec's preseason numbers, I'll look at last year and he had a .906 compared to RDP's .882 so far this year. It's not the best method but it's all I've got to go on.
That's my two cents.
Your beer mug isn't half-empty, your just half-way to the next refill.....
RDP isn't a good goalie anymore, people are picking him up because of his name, but he's completely lost it. Pavelec on the other hand has been great this season, one game played, and no shots. Don't be fooled, that takes skill to do, starting him today skills.
LOL, I know! F@ck. My goaltending has been kicking me in the junk for years. Last year I traded Perry for Brodeur and Rask(farm eligible) to protect me from these types of situations. Now Rask isn't playing so he isn't an option and I drafted Anderson whose now out for probably 4-6 weeks. Here's hoping Pavelec busts out in a big way!
Thanks for the responses.
Oh and with the fantasy tools I was able to look up Pav's save % in preseaon, 0.897....not stellar. RDP's was actually .962 however that was only one game.
