Farm Team on Yahoo?? Please Help

So, my keeper league is having a lot of trouble managing our farm team (new this year).
Our league is on Yahoo.
We each have 3 farm team players, but do not keep them on our active roster.
So, we have a commissioner's note posted with an alphabetical list of all our farm team players and who they belong to.
But, (this has happened 3 times now) a GM has picked up someone else's farm team player who has been called up.

How can we avoid this?
Is there a way in Yahoo to protect farm team players without having them on your roster?
I'm not the commissioner so I can't look at all the settings...

Please help, our league is going NUTS over this issue...

you could try assigning the keeper K to the players who are farm boys. Don't know if you can do this once the season has started but worth looking into Id think...

True. Just one of many ways fantrax is more user friendly than Yahoo.

Our league uses a Greasemonkey script and a Google Doc spreadsheet to keep track of the farm players. We have 16 teams, 14 player farms and haven't had a problem since we started using this. It functions in two ways - first, it highlights the players who are owned on the available player list so you know right away you can't add the player, and second - it puts your farm players on your "my team" page down near the notes section with games played (helpful if you have limits, which you do).

I have no idea how the commish did it but I know I had to install the greasemonkey thing and use Firefox for it to work.

But it sounds like your managers need to pay more attention...

My league is having the same problem and I've already started planning the switch for next season. Yahoo just isn't user friendly enough so I'm researching other sites to use. Fantrax and CBS come to mind but I'm sure there's tons out there. Good Luck!

interesting, thanks guys. I'll look into that greasemonkey thing.. sounds kind of like that pickemfirst add-on thing Dobber suggested last year. I'll see what my commish says and I'll let you know how it goes... in the mean time if there are any more suggestions don't hesitate.. thanks
