Default With Green back what happens to Carlson

With Green back from injury is Carlson a safe bet to keep in a one year points league or is it time to try and trade him or drop him for one of the usual suspects on the Waiver heap?
    Points are for G.A,PPP,SHG.

On Waivers in our 12 team league:
    Rosival
    Kubina
    Wideman
    Foster
    Colaiacavo
    Leopold

Is there someone there to grab or do I sit with Carlson. He is still getting top minutes.

I would stick with Carlson, or try and trade him for someone of high value.

Both Green and Carlson will get numbers. On there respective D pairings they are both the guy that moves deep into the zone and are given the Green like to jump into the play. Green obviously will get more minutes but I've seen Carlson out there quite a bit as well.

Even with Green back in the fold, Carlson is good for roughly 40 pickles this year, with potential to catch a hot streak and smash 40.

I'd probably hang on to Carlson. Kubina is the only one of the current guys on waivers that would really appeal to me, in large part because he's a key offensive cog on a talented team. Never mind that Tampa's coach is known for encouraging his defensemen to join the play.

I would rather have Carlson with or without Green in the lineup, over any of the guys you have listed. Having said that, my top three in order out of those you have listed are; Kubina, Foster, Wideman

This is listed under the keepers section. If it is a keeper by no means drop Carlson and even in a one year I would keep him over those players you listed.

I see that it is under the keeper section. I didn't notice the format change and usually click on the second box for one year leagues but goofed up. I think I will keep him.

I have them both and of the two it's Green that's on the trade block.

That should tell you all you need to know

uhhhhhh, if you are placing a higher value on Carlson over Green based on 4 weeks of hockey, I would rethink why Green is on the trade block....

I would hope its because your D is sooooo stacked that you are using Green to try and grab one of the big 3 (or Backstrom or a Sedin lol)

LOL, take a look at my sig and you will see that I already have Backstrom and Ovechkin

Don't get me wrong, I don't value Carlson over Green (yet!) but I can see how my previous post could be mis-leading.

The reason Green is on the block is because he will fetch a higher return than if it was Carlson on the block. I also think that Carlson is not that far away from producing "Green-like" numbers.

Also, just because he is on the block does not mean that he will be traded (but if he is, it would be for a tidy sum )
