What to do with MAB??

Love the D thread...

In our heavily D-goal weighted league, MAB is valuable, even though he will only play 60 games. He did better than most elite D in my league and barely played 60. Think he will do the same on a team like the Rangers or someone in need of a PP boost. He should be ready to go in November, but there is little news regarding any possible signings.

Could he have played himself out of a job due to his shitty defensive play? Maybe.

Chris Butler is the only D available on the wire and is getting prime PP minutes vs. MAB's zero. Starting to wonder if I should just grab the active player.

OR I could replace Sekera with Butler and hold onto MAB. Seems a little lateral, though...

Any advice appreciated

well I know that I will be dropping Quincey (BUM) for Butler if I can get if on the wire this week. I say its a good move!

Have a look who MAB outpointed in only 60 games last year (in our scoring system):

Kaberle
Enstrom
Rafalski
Chara
McCabe
Del Zotto
Campbell
E. Johnson
Robidas

I wouldn't think about dropping one of those guys for Butler, so I am inclined to wait for a couple of weeks and see if he signs somewhere. Of course, Butler will likely be gone by then. Maybe swap Sekera for Butler and hold onto MAB?...
