I feel Steve Mason is a talented goalie but he still needs some improvement. That being said, Columbus stinks, their defensive zone play is awful and Mason is hung out to dry on a number of occasions. Whats more concerning is their effort level. A good goalie on a bad team is often useless.
Valid points. Plus he plays in a very tough division where teams will pounce continuously on mistakes. I've been looking to deal Mason ever since my hand was forced and I had to draft him. However, it's impossible to get any kind of value for him, even when he does well, because of people's fears about last season carrying over.
