Really weak at LW -- any advice?
Drafted on Friday and I think I wound up with a decent team. 12 team Yahoo Roto pool - G, A, +/-, PIM, PPP, W, SO.
C - Backstrom
C - Richards
RW - Perry
RW - Kane
LW - Fleischmann
LW - Vanek
D - Markov
D - Whitney
D - McBain
D - Wisniewski
G - Kiprusoff
G - Quick
BN - T. Hall (LW)
BN - Giroux (RW)
BN - O. Jokinen (C)
BN - Foster (D)
BN - J. Demers (D)
There's pretty much nothing left on the wire at LW, so I would like to try to make a deal. Any advice on what/who to use as leverage? Any general team advice or throughts?

I feel like there is a lot of hype around the Oil right now and you might be able to turn Hall into a decent upgrade if you can get another GM to bite. Your LW isn't as weak as you may think. I feel like Fleischmann is going to have a solid year and Vanek should be good to go as well. Do you have superstar in that position? No. But the rest of your squad looks dangerous.

yeah LW would be your weak spot but he's right that Hall might be worth more than he'll actually score due to the hype factor in a one-year league...if you can get a proven LW-er for Hall I would do it
I would package Hall with one of the extra D men, you two to choose from...and go after a LW that you like...Vanek is missing but he always starts slow...Fleischmann is a C but you must have dual c/lw availablity. Why carry the extra D men in a points league?
