Drop Price for Neuvirth?
I have Price, Howard and Varlamov as my G's. Three minimum starts per week. Varley seems to be out for a while. Should I drop Price and grab Neuvy while I still can? One year league.

Price is the man in Montreal, and no one's there to steal starts. So straight up I'd say no. Yet, since you have Varly I would very much consider it, as securing all the Washington wins/stats is more important then having the Montreal goalie. I'd probably pursue a 2-for-1 trade first though, packaging Price and Knuble for a better RW.

Yeah, I would, but nobody really wants Price. 10 team league and hardly anyone needs a G, especially one who played like crap in preseason for a team that might not make the playoffs!

I think you would be nuts in a H2H not to drop Souray and grab Neuvirth for now and see how the wind blows
Without a doubt, this is the smart move. Price may turn out to be very valuable if he starts out hot. With all the goalie battles going on a borderline starter could end up a backup putting another GM in a hole. Price could be good trade bait.Originally Posted by Shoeless
