Backlund got the start tonight for the Flyers, his first game work of the preseason. And it shows.....7 goals given up midway thru the 2nd, after Flyers took a quick 2-0 lead. Hope that's rust Backlund's showing, cause it's ugly. Lavvy pulled him and just put in The Bob. Of course it's the Flyers' "B" squad out there against the Sabre's "A" squad, so keep that in perspective.
