Who do I drop?
Hey everyone,
With my recent acquisition of Dastyuk for Rask, I realized that the team I traded Rask to will now have four goaltenders. I don't believe he will keep a four goaltender rotation as there are only two roster spots available at a time and his other categories would suffer.
Here are his goalies...
Thomas
Vokoun
Turco
Rask (trade)
I figure that either one of these would be an improvement over Mason in Atlanta or Gustavsson in Toronto. I think any of these would be a great option for a third goaltender position and I have first pick on waiver wire.
My question is, who do I drop in order to pick up his scraps? My team is in my signature.
...Oh and I love knowing that I have gotten Datsyuk and a decent third goaltender for Rask

I dunno he is a Thomas owner, so picking up Rask will just guarantee his Boston starts...
Also just looking at your roster, it looks pretty deep with 4 at each position. So him having a 4th goalie won't make that much difference especially if 2 of them are split time goalies on the same team... I don't really see him dropping a goalie to be honest. I mean he wouldn't go out of the way to pick up Rask for a pretty good C just to drop another goalie for nothing...

I get the feeling he WILL drop one. I spoke to him and he said he was thinking of dropping Thomas but wasn't sure. Do I pick one of them up? Do I take a chance on Boucher (PHI)? What IF he drops one...?

I dunno I'm not a fan of what if scenarios... cause there's too many combinations/variations that can happen. I just don't understand why he would want to trade for Rask and then dump his handcuff in Thomas for nothing...
If it is the league thats in your sig, he should have plenty of roster spots to spare 1 for a goalie...
But if he does make the choice of dropping Thomas I'd easily sacrifice an Ennis or Leino and nab him. If Rask goes down you could have a number 1 and Datsyuk for essentially nothing.
