New 30 team Roto keeper league - Pick an NHL team

Hey everyone,

I'm starting a new 30 team roto keeper league on Fantrax. I've wanted to do this for a while, and I think it will be a lot of fun testing to see if you can do better than an NHL GM. GMs will pick an NHL team and select 25 players from that team (you choose how many prospects you want). Once the season starts you can add, drop and trade any player as you wish. Teams will keep any of their 20 players from year to year.

We'll be using the stat categories from the other keeper pool that I run which has worked well: 6 Categories total (G A P PPP PIM sv%). Active lineups will consist of up to 10 Forwards, 5 Defensemen, and 2-3 goalies. To prevent GMs from playing silly games with their goalies and sv% teams must have at least 2 active goalies or their lineup will be invalid and no points will be accumulated. Teams will also need to have at least 50 games played by goalies or else you will lose all your sv% pts by the end of the year.

Apart from the roster sizes, keeper #, and league size, we will basically be adopting the rule structure from my other keeper league that I run, which you can check out at uhl.peatrc.com under the CBA tab. However, this pool will be FREE. If you're interested please contact me at my peatrc at gmail dot com address and send me 3 teams you're interested in taking in order of your preference.
