I know Thomas has more talent than Ray Emery but people have made it seem like a torn labrum is career ending for a goalie.
Thomas has been recovering for 3 months now and officially started light skating/shots. Hopefully he takes it easy during training camp and first month of season so that he gets a full 5 months of rehab.
Any Bruins fans have more insight into Thomas' health etc..?

No,
Good goalie but older & coming off an injury. Biggest roadblock is $$$. The goalie glut means that the Bs will most likely have to pay someone to take Thomas.
I want to know who voted yes.
I checked who voted yes, and it turned out to be this guy:

I am really skeptical to take Tuukka Rask as a #1 goalie in a 1 yr. league because of Thomas. That contract is virtually un-tradeable and they have to play him. Maybe if he was in the last year of his contract he could be moved. However, he isn't in the last year.
Rask is going to end up going as a #1 on a bunch of fantasy teams. However, he ain't gonna be on mine.
Tim Thomas believes he is progressing well from off-season hip surgery.
"It's pretty good," he said. "I was on the ice for a bit last week. It passed every test we've thrown it so far." He still has to be assessed by the Boston medical staff during training camp, but he thinks he will be on track to return for the start of the regular-season. We'll keep you posted.

I voted yes...he will be loaned to the Finnish team that they just affiliated themselves with
Yep! Its just going to take a team like PHI or someone with question marks in net to have an injury or get impatient then he's off!
I could see him going to a team like Tampa if they are making a strong playoff run.
no way in hell...the year after will be when they start shopping him
They will need Timmy when Rask gets tired and sloppy in the 2nd half of the season..
