Any favorites so far?

Not really - fair amount of parity here. Going to come down to who picked those midround guys right - guys that have a breakout season I think - in the late rounds which are the vets that are going to keep it up for the season is also an issue and of course freedom from injury will make a huge difference.

I liked Dyz's draft the best until about round 12 or 13. Seen lots and lots of thoughtful picks - tough league to manage in I think. Some teams have some obvious weaknesses but they also have offsetting strengths - have to see how that plays out.

Nifty has 3 D guys from the Wings.

Big Ev is praying for no goalie injuries so Mike Brodeur or Lehner don't come up and kick his one remaining goalie to the bench.

KBlayne is hoping that Dobber got one player right in his forecasts - Eberle.

Most bizarre draft - Kickerz of course - somethings never change - you know if no one ever traded with him in the draft, I think he would go into withdrawal.

AW and Kickerz are going to be duelling PIM's I think. Lots of Grit and Goons on those teams.

And best of all - I don't see a clear winner here - you guys are going to have fun duking it out.

Strong teams all-around... Difficult to pin-point the beasts unless I sit down and analyze.

I traded for Gustavsson in this league last year.

Semin, Smyth, Oshie, Gustavsson, Toskala

FOR

Nabokov, Krejci, Downie, Umberger, Callahan

I think it was. I dropped Toskala 1 week in & traded smyth for elias & sullivan.

I also think that it is hard to tell at this point the clear cut winners...all of the teams are pretty well balanced...a little luck with some favorable weekly match-ups and a lot of good health will go a long way...

I am just excited to be in a league with some really ardent hockey fans...that is probably the best thing of all from my perspective....

It is going to be a lot fun competing with you all this season!!

You have 3 forwards more than capable of breaking 90 points and Green to boot and lots of grit, Praba. Gus steps up and your team is not going to be easy to play against.

Yes you do seem to be confused, probably because I missed a word in that - the word "don't". . You have 1 goaltender occupying 2 roster slots. If one of them gets injured and either Brodeur or Lehner gets called up - you had better jump on them quick or you may have zero goaltenders.

Look on the bright side - if there are 3 game minimum goalie starts in this league - you will only default on the goalie stats in weeks 12 and 14 when the Sens only play 2 games those weeks. Assuming Leclaire and Elliott are still in harness of course.
