This is why a live draft is much better, even if it takes time to find an acceptable day & 2 hour window for everyone.

the pace is ridiculous... i agree with NYR, online draft is the only way to go if we didn't have at least a 2 month start for this draft.

In Wedgy's defense, he probably isn't even aware that the draft started. We did kind of start out of no where and there was never an official draft start date.

I think we can manage our draft by puck drop and I'm in no rush. Yes it sucks that he hasn't picked yet, but don't worry things will pick up.

he was sent an email invitation to join the yahoo league, he was sent an email about the results of the draft order, i'm assuming whoever picked before him emailed him that he is otc, and i also emailed him telling him its been more than 28 hours since he's been otc.

Yeah well we have less than a month to do this and we can't afford to have 24 hours pass between picks. Hopefully Wedgy comes on soon.

For the sake of moving the draft on, I think the commissioner should assign the power of attorney for AW's first pick to me. That would be the pirates way.

Oh I think pirates would do something much more devious than that.

if this is what needs to be done... I think it should... and really... it should be Malkin anyways... only a few realistic choices this early.

I personally think the only logical choice is George parros. That mustache has got to make him the closestthing to a pirate in the nhl

i selected evgeni malkin for him. he was otc for over 30 hours. if he does not return by his next pick or does not email me letting me know of his status i will try and find a suitable replacement. hopefully he is okay and nothing serious happened.
