    Default Henrik Karlsson

Kiprusoff is an animal. He has played around 75 games in each of the last few seasons.

Are the Flames going to actually let Henrik Karlsson play 15+ games this year?

Also, why did Karlsson have almost zero hype before this year?

I doubt he plays 15 games.

Kiprusoff will be the reason the Flames make the playoffs.

When the flames drop out of the playoff hunt, you'll see karlsson play more

There was some hype last summer when signed over here. But he signed with san jose and with greiss and stalock in from of him, not much chance

The West got stronger and the Flames stayed with a bunch of ex-Leafs. Sorry the Flames are gonna be out of the hunt early.

The odds of the Flames of being in the hunt are about the same as the Panthers. Yikes!

Zero chance wrong. This coming from a guy who owns Jokinen on his roster.

I was asking this question because I plan on acquiring either Karlsson or Garon.

Karlsson clearly has more upside but Garon played in 35 games last year! I'm just looking for a filler goalie right now. I have a feeling Garon may be used a lot again this year.

My goaltending situation is going to have a major makeover at the end of the season but until then I just need some starts.

I think you gotta go with Garon. Like you mentioned, he pretty much split starts with S. Mason last season. That's a big bonus when comparing him to Karlsson, Kipper's back up. Don't get me wrong, I like Karlsson and longterm he has more value than Garon, but if you need an immediate filler, Garon's your guy.

Just finished watching CGY beat PHO 3-1 and Karlsson played the whole game. He looked great. Big, mobile, very good positional, and he had good rebound control. He also looked calm and focused.

I think Kipper will certainly get a lighter workload this year and expect Karlsson to start 15-20 games.

the guy is a monster in net 6'7. Honest to god he looks like a potential starter... just needs some help with his rebound control and getting back to his feet once hes in the butterfly. That will come with time though. Id take Karlsson. And yes... cgy makes the playoffs

Yes for sure! Out of the 6'6 monsters...Karlsson seems to have more promise than Rynnas in my opinion.
