Dobber has considered the issue and decided to allow the trading of draft picks which technically can't happen, but there is a work around. Here is an excerpt for the commissioner's notes posted in each of the leagues:

"TRADING DRAFT PICKS: Some of you asked about trading picks in the draft. Well that can't happen in a live yahoo draft - but the Supreme Council has decided that if teams want to trade picks and honor that agreement by drafting the other guy's choice of player in the traded slot and then make a post-draft trade to consummate the deal - then go for it. The commissioner will be hands off in this process - you guys will have to make it work right.

There won't be a trading of Draft Positions in case that question comes up. You will be drafting from the slot you have been assigned throughout."

I think you should try and draft guys using some sort of theme.

Well a given theme is that they never get to play - but that would be cool - last names start with the same letter or all from the same division, all Russians, etc.

I sent a message to Dobber, but incase he doesnt get it, I want to let whoevers in charge know that I cant do the draft tonight. Give my team to someone on the backup list. Name is notcraig in the Norris Division.

Everything was cool...except the deleting your team part. That caused chaos - ouch! The draft order reset (that bothered people). But life goes on, honest mistake. Hope everything is okay on your end Craig, nothing too serious.
