Does Yahoo! have an option to use an extended, no time limit draft for a 1 year league? Also, would that be free?

Just wondering because I know CBS has one but I think you have to pay.

as far as I know if it's live, it's timed... unless you do an offline draft and just upload that data onto a database later.

does anyone know if you can do a keeper draft on Yahoo. I want to be able to exclude all our keepers and then do a live draft. Or if not does anyone know of a live chat room I can use to be able to have people who can't attend the live draft to follow the draft and make picks when there turn is up.

I think you can do this. I have never commished a league but we do use keepers in our league and we are under yahoo. Last year, I think the commish first tagged all the keepers (they had a little k mark beside their name) and they were excluded from the draft list.

If you're looking for a place to host a live draft online, I'd be more than happy to do it for you at Hockey Utopia using Cover It Live. I've done all of my leagues drafts this way for the last year or two and it's worked quite well. Only the commissioner needs to register for anything, and that's free. you can do it, but the K tag has nothing to do with it, unfortunately. The commish has to go in before the draft and assign all of the keeper players to each team - and also assign the draft order. Then when the live draft happens, all of the players are assigned all at once and you advance to whatever round in the draft you would be at had those players been picked in that order.
