    Two questions:
    1) I drafted nyquist based on the p report and his NCAA numbers. My biggest concern when drafting him was that it might be impossible for his value to go up if he plays in Maine again. Can you see him improving on last years numbers?
    2) Out of arnott, brunette, Malone and lupul, which 2 do you take for next year?

    1. Nyqvist will be fine, even if his numbers slip to a point per game. Our position is that he will be a star, though it may be three or four years before you see the big numbers.

    2. Lupul and probably Malone

Hi Dobber, say Kovalchuk went to the Kings. Does that enhance Ryan Smyth's fantasy value?
Both he and Kovy are LWs so I would assume that Kovy will play on the top line with Kopitar and Smyth on the 2nd line unless Smyth plays on the Right Side on that 1st line.

And on the PP unit, Smyth would no doubt we playing in front of the net on that first unit as Kovy will likely man the point with Doughty I assume.

When Kovy was a Thrasher, he seemed to make everyone around him better. Guys like Todd White (08-09 season), Max Afinogenov, Nik Antropov, and Enstrom benefited from his presence to some degree. And when he got traded to the Devils, their production tailed off.

So do you see a guy like Ryan Smyth's production rise a little bit or a lot if Kovy was in the lineup? I would think he would get some extra PP points for sure. Or will he be just a 30-30 (Goals-Assists) player when healthy in terms of scoring like most experts predict him to be lately?

Thanks for the insight! Greatly Appreciate it.

By presuming that Thomas is gone of Boston:

Can we believe that in a span of 15 years Rask will be in the top 5 of the league for wins and shutouts most of the time ?

Can he get around 40 wins and around 10 shutouts per season on a regular basis in the NHL ?

    Thanks for your opinion.

    Dobber,

In a keeper league where positions matter

    Hossa or Cammalleri?
    Berglund or Oshie?
    Varlamov or Neuvirth?
    Stamkos or Hall?
    Carllson or Doughty?

Hey Dobber, thanks for doing this. I should have the 1st 2nd 3rd(depending on the lottery, bottom 4 have a shot at 1st overall) and 10th picks in the first round. I'll likely grab Hall, Seguin and Subban with those picks. I still have to make room for the fourth spot via trade or dropping either Hanzel or Leclaire. I like both players but if i have to drop one i think Hanzel would be easier to replace. What would you do and what position would you target with that pick for the team in my sig? No forward positions. Goal heavy stats. Available players are all 2010 draftees, notable forwards like Ennis, MPS, Hudler, Lombardi, d-men, Mcbain, Kulikov, Hamuis, OEL, Kindl, Gilbert, Shatt, Sanguinetti, goalies, Markstrom,Lehner, Elliot, Leighton, Boucher,Nuevirth,Niittymaki and Ellis. Sorry for the length as i'm missing a lot of players. Tried keeping it short.

    Hey Dobber,

I am in a 16 team keeper roto league. We have 10 categories (G, A, +/-, PIM, STG, STA, GWG, W, Saves, GAA). We are only allowed to keep 3 farm players (anyone I keep will be my property for the next two seasons).

Here is who I have on my farm right now:

    Mikkel Boedker
    Andrew Cogliano
    Oscar Moller
    Rostislav Olesz
    Eric Tangradi
    Kyle Turris
    Guillaume Latendresse
    Keith Ballard
    Erik Karlsson
    Michal Neuvirth
    Chet Pickard

I am planning on keeping Neuvirth but I am undecided on who else I should keep (I am hoping to try to trade some of the players I don't keep).

If you could tell me how you would rank these players I would appreciate it.

    Thanks,

    Mike
