Well at the 1/4 pole I have decided that trends usually are pretty much set. Take a look at my team and give me the top 3 names to axe (forwards - trust me there is reason to keep Budaj).

Please consider the balance of the season\'s upside as well as performance to date.

There\'s at least 2 names on FA that interest me and I am feeling it is just about time to make a move.

I guess I would add Aucoin to that cut list if you had a Burns or Enstrom type player available.

Sykora is the obvious cut and if need be i would cut gionta and afinogenov.

Emurdoch - nothing so good on FA for D - actually Aucoin is performing better than Visnovsky in my league, Visnovsky is a product of a trade that I am beginning to regret - sigh.

Chicleteur - I will probably be the only guy in the league to max games in goal and though I really don\'t need Budaj to do that - other guys could, so I will wait until they see the writing on the wall and hope that Budaj picks it up again.

You know there is a reason we come to these forums - I certainly had Sykora on my potential cut list but he wasn\'t nearly at the top. Now that you guys have chimed in it seems obvious that he could go

Well the guy with Crosby is strongly considering him in offer for my Hossa and Budaj. There is not a goalie to be had and most teams won\'t come close to max games in goal - doing the numbers if Budaj gets 20 more decent starts this year he can kick in 100 fantasy points you just aren\'t going to get otherwise. Yeah I think he has value in our league.

So definitely keep him. I really hope for you he won\'t sink that much.

The Av\'s are too good to continue this way - he will get his points - it may not happen until they get off the road but I think I can wait on him - if he happens to pull a rabbit out of the hat in Edmonton today that would really help.

We have just enough bench length to sit on 2 or 3 guys so I will make him one of the select few - my issue is really front end - need one or two of my marginal forwards with potential to step it up to give me room to breathe and make some moves - if they don\'t I will be forced to drop and grab - need D bodies badly.

So Budaj is back!!! Good for you! Yeah, when you have space it definitely worth sitting on couple of them. This year, we\'ve expended the size of our team from 16 to 21 just for avoiding \"drop and grab\" games.
