Hindsight is 20/20, but if you read through the lists you start seeing teams who continually plucked top players the Leafs had passed on - Detroit, San Jose, Ottawa, Buffalo and the Habs are particularly recurring. The first four have been among the NHL\'s top at least since the lockout. Either those teams much surpass the Leafs in scouting, or in developing, or in both.
I think taking Luka Cereda over Martin Havlat is the winner there ...
