I dunno guys.. i personally have Steve Mason pegged into that title myself
Definitely Steve Mason.
Single handedly ruined my fantasy season this year
I'd vote Emery.

...has only 34 points
All of these guys are great examples of goats, but I'd say the winner of the 2009/2010 fantasy goat of the year belongs to DION PHANEUF.
2 seasons ago: 60pts 182PIMS
Last season: 47pts 100PIMS
This season: 24pts 65PIMS (projected to finish the year with 30pts, 81PIMS)
to me, Dion is the biggest disappointment of the year, especially when everyone thought he was going to have a huge rebound year from the previous one. Ya I know he got traded to Toronto, but even before then he wasn't doing anything special on Calgary.

I still give Steve Mason the #1 vote over any of those guys.
If you owned him (and didn't trade him) chances are he singlehandedly ruined your season.

Had 2 picks in the first round of the supplemental draft this year -- took OSully #3 overall, then Emery #9 overall. Sweet.
Still, i made it through the first round and onto the final four of the playoffs tonight!

I never thought O'Sully would be dropped in almost all of my keepers. Even more stunning - nobody has picked him up. Ouch.

Dion's the easy choice for that award for me. I've never trusted O'Sully to bounce back, and if he had, I would have been pleasantly surprised. Kariya, I expected around 41 points from, so he's about on pace for that. SMason I've watched throughout Juniors, and while he's a winner, I was surprised by his amazing year last year, and I thought he might suffer a bit of a set back, although nothing this big, and he seems to be turning it around a little down the stretch. I could see how he'd be a goat for most people, since he's probably most people's stud on the backend, and that can kill you (the way Marty's been killing me down the stretch in my one-year league). Vanek is a huge disappointment though, as I really thought he'd be a 40 goal guy every year unless injured. I'm not sure what the deal with him is, but he's a big disappointment. Yet, Dion is the big loser here. Half his points total from last year, which was a down year itself. He just hasn't produced at all, and it seems like it's gonna be more then a two year thing, whereas I think Vanek will bounce back. It's close between Vanek and Dion, but Dion gets my nod. Maybe he bounces back, but he has zero trust from me now.
