    Default Halak or Brodeur?

    Brodeur @ CAR
    or
    Halak v. PHI

Usually, it isn't even a contest. But Brodeur's been down lately. Philly can go off at times, and Markov isn't healthy it seems. Who should I go with? I really just need the W, but good GAA would be safe.

Yeah I heard Markov is not playing. Either way you got to start Marty... hopefully he has a solid game before the Olympics.

Brodeur is always the better start over Halak. He's a better goalie and the Habs are too hit-or-miss.

Bad night on both counts... oddly enough Peters was the guy to play? He must feel pretty good about himself tonight!

Atleast Brodeur had the better SV% and let in fewer goals

5 weeks ago I traded for Brodeur, to pair him with Luongo for what I thought would be a dominant duo down the stretch and into the Playoffs.

Now 5 weeks later, with 3 goalie cats per week, I've gone 3-12 in those cats, and 0-3 in week 1 of the playoffs (both Marty and Roberto got yanked in their final pre-Oly start, wtf), which has cost me the division lead and put me on shaky ground in the playoffs.

    WTF????

If this crap continues and we blow the gold plus my playoffs I'm goin' Buffalo 66 on someone's ass..

    just sayin'

That's unfortunate, but that's fantasy hockey.

The odds are definitely in your favor if you own Luongo and Brodeur, but in a 5 week window anything can happen. Those 5 week hiccups are compensated by stretches of godly play which is what separates them from the pack.
