VERY close. According to Tarik El-Bashir (Caps' beat writer),

He's back to doing conditioning stints, so I would imagine in the next 3-4 games.

The Bears play the Norfolk Admirals on Wednesday, Wilkes-Barre Scranton Baby Pens on Saturday and then don't play before the next Friday. Maybe he starts both games and the comes back to the Caps?

Correction -- Actually, El-Bashir just reported that Varly likely won't start on Wednesday :

*Semyon Varlamov skated on his own again this morning and could be headed to Hershey tomorrow to begin his rehab assignment. It's unclear when he'll play, but it probably won't be Wednesday in Norfolk, I'm told. The Bears' next game is Saturday.
