Default Things are looking good for Ward

Here are the opponents the Hurricanes and Cam Ward will be facing in February:

    Mon Feb 1, 2010 @ Edm
    Wed Feb 3, 2010 @ Cal
    Fri Feb 5, 2010 @ Buf
    Sat Feb 6, 2010 @ NYI
Tue Feb 9, 2010 vs Fla
Thu Feb 11, 2010 vs Buf
Sat Feb 13, 2010 vs NJ

Seems like a pretty favorable month to me!

Ward and Carolina are playing much better lately, but I see only two games in there that jump out as "easy" games -- slumping Calgary and Edmonton to start the month.

That said, a slumping team looking for it's first win in a couple of weeks can sometimes be a pretty tough opponent.

As for the rest of the month, I see two games against Buffalo, one against New Jersey, one against Florida and a red-hot Tomas Vokoun and one against an Islanders team that has spanked any team that took them lightly.

Yeah it's looks good on paper but let's wait and see what happens once they start playing. In the NHL today there are no easy games. Everyone wants to win. I bet there are some teams thinking Carolina is an easy game 15 in the East
