In a one year league I would take Savard.
What do you think of
my
Cammalleri (C/LW)
for his
Savard (C)
Good straight trade? I would still retain 5 LW players after, and LW is currently the highest production on my team as compared to C or RW. Unfortunately the player gaining Cammalleri is also within one point of me, and this would give him a total of 5 potential LW and improve his spread considerably.
11 team positional (4C 4LW 4RW 6D 2G daily) half-keeper. G/A 1pt, W 2pts, SO 3pts
C: Spezza, Savard, Kopitar, Stastny
LW: Cammalleri, Kariya, O'Sullivan, Prospal, Brunette,
RW: Justin Williams, Horton, Doan, Backes, Langenbrunner, Hornqvist
D: Green, Gonchar, Lidstrom, Enstrom, Grebeshkov, Hedman
G: Brodeur, Steve Mason, Ward
In a one year league I would take Savard.
12 Team Keeper Points League - Keep 5
G(2), A(1), +/-(1), PIM(.25), PPG(1), SHG(4), GWG(2), W(5), L(-2), SHO(10)
C: Malkin, Duchene, Ribeiro
W: Nash, Parise, Hemsky, Skinner, Stalberg, Penner
D: Whitney, Zidlicky, Liles, McBain
G: Halak, Rinne
BN: Bieksa, Eberle, Brassard, Mueller, DiPietro, Conklin
As good as I think Cammalleri is, I also like Savard over him in a one year pool...good call Sharpie.
10 Team [keep 10 + 4 prospects]
Scoring F=1[g/a]; D=2[g], 1[a]; G=2[w], -1[L], 1[OT], 2[SO] Top 12 F, 6 D, 2 G count
Forwards
Crosby, Ovechkin, Backstrom, Wheeler, Byfuglien, Hornqvist, Simmonds, Ladd, Zuccarello, Ribeiro, Desharnais, Semin, MacArthur, Moulson, Purcell, Soderberg, Dupuis
Defense
Keith, Goligoski, Carlson, Krug, Trouba, Streit, Pouliot, Ceci, Nurse, Martinez
Goalie
Fleury/Price/Rask
Thanks for the advice. It\'s a half-keeper league, but I\'m shooting to win this year.
Which would you rather do, trade Cammalleri for Savard, or the following:
Cammalleri
Khabibulin
Backstrom
for
Kiprusoff
Connolly
Toews
?
Same goal, winning this year.

The multi-player is much better for you IMO. Savard is a 10-15 point upgrade over Cammalleri.
Kipper > Khabibulin [by a considerable margin]
Toews = Backstrom [Backstrom may have a slightly higher ceiling playing with AO down the road, but Toews looks like a star right now...Backstrom will take a while].
Cammalleri = Connolly [skill wise these two are about the same...the one has a concussion history].
I don\'t mind the injury risk b/c of the tremendous upgrade in goal. Also, Toews probably outpoints Backstrom by 20 this year anyway which gives you an added injury contingency.

Thanks again. If I can\'t get him to go for toes/backstrom, which of the following do you think is better to aim for?
Kiprusoff
Connolly
White
or
Kiprusoff
Connolly
Bouchard (Pierre-Marc)
11 team positional (4C 4LW 4RW 6D 2G daily) half-keeper. G/A 1pt, W 2pts, SO 3pts

PM Bouchard...White should not even be mentioned in the same sentence...especially from a keeper standpoint.
