Default Cory Schneider standing on his head

When Luongo comes back - it looks like he will have a defensive corpse that is working pretty well together. Atleast over the last few games they have protected Raycroft really well.

But tonight - The Stars are on a shooting frenzy!

Almost 50 shots on goal already! And 80+ shots for the entire game.

This is one of the few times that I have seen Schneider looking really confident and poised in NHL level.

Hope Philly scouts are at the game

He was fantastic tonight... kept the team in the game the whole time! Van finally showed up in the 3rd, but in the first 2 it was all Schneider. He needed a game like that really badly. I wouldn't be surprised if he starts the next game as long as Luongo isn't back. Van really wants to show him off.

45 saves tonight... this game alone already outshines his stint last year in the big's... hopefully this roll continues and his confidence remains... I think last year, with the success he had in the AHL I think he came up to the NHL perhaps a little over confident and it brought him back down to earth and helped him get focused and composed to be the best goalie in the AHL last year. Last year's small set back, I think was key.
