Another WW Pickup Advice Thread (b/c of Price :P)

Hey guys,

Thinking about grabbing another G to get some additional starts while waiting to decide what to do with Price. Guys available are:
Antero Niittymaki
Antti Niemi
Ty Conklin
Tuukka Rask
Mathieu Garon
Dwayne Roloson
Jeff Deslauriers
Martin Biron

And I was planning on dropping Vrbata and having 4 G for a while until I decide what to do. Is this a smart move? Was leaning towards grabbing Niittymaki but looking for some other opinions.

Well Vrbata is streaky as hell. And right now he`s as cold as ice. Giving him the old heave-ho makes sense right now.

What`s great is those are some of the best sleeper goaltenders out there. What sucks is that they are sleepers because they are backups and none have been able to wrestle the starting job away just yet.

I might just wait and see how Garon does tonight and hopefully that earns him another start. That or try to see if Niittymaki is in line for another start tomorrow. Failing that I think grab Roloson, NYI have been playing some decent hockey and he is pretty well their starter.

Thanks metal, I suppose Roloson is guaranteed more starts than Niittymaki due to TB giving Smith every opportunity to succeed. Even with Biron's solid play of late, do you think Roloson had the job in NY? Lehtonen is also on the waiver. Would it be worth one of my moves to drop Vrbata, throw Kari on my IR, then pick up Rolly, or does Pavelec have the #1 spot wrapped up in Atl? Thanks, sorry for all the questions.
