if you check the standing in tier 2 i never seen a roto standing has close has that one one swap in one category and your going up or down...

It's crazy! Not too long ago there was one other team (Mercs) right there with us. Just crazy.
Bah! I thought I was actually fighting for 2nd in tier 2 when I looked at yahoo this morning, but I just realized that the numbers are skewed because of the +/-.
Booourns.
Another good reason to get rid of the dummy teams... why do we have them? Since they do not adequately hold all the players owned in the other teirs do they really serve any purpose? Can we fill their teams with Rod Brindamours?

It was really important that guy not pick up Crosby or Ovechkin in the leagues that they aren't in - they would be showing as available - but now that everyone knows how to make a pick up, the dummy teams may not serve much of a purpose. I will put it out there, along with another rule change proposal after the regular season is done.
Well, I find them usefull to be able to see the teams from the other tier. It could help initiate trade talks by looking at their games played numbers, etc.
Russ, you mentioned a rule change proposal, can we have a preview now?
That shouldn't be too hard. I'm sure you can post a link of each tier league somewhere.
I just found it surprising because when I sat in 2nd in yahoo, I was actually in 6th (out of the playoffs) in reality. 7 of the 10 teams were in the minuses at that point, so it was really off.
Well, since these are private leagues, you need to be a GM or a co-GM to be able to view these other leagues (unless there's something else that can be done and that I'm not aware of).
BTW, a week before season end isn't it a good timing to ask for updates standing files Chinny?

so the dummy teams are assigned to owners from other tiers? Doesn't that give you an advantage since you can see the other tiers and I can not? I'm not trying to be a baby here, but if the only purpose they serve is to allow a few select owners access to the other tiers then I have an itty-bitty problem with that. I suppose Russ and Chinny need that access to manage the league but why does anyone else?

It's not a few select owners, if I recall properly (and correct me if I'm wrong Russ), Russ offered this possibility to whoever wanted it. All you need is a space on your Yahoo account or a free one. I don't have the exact number, but I'm pretty sure at least half of the league have asked for that.
