Turris by 4 miles !
Hi to all of you expert,
Who would you prefer in your farm system considering that their upside are similar?
Dobber said that Brassard was 3 years away before training camp? Does it look closer now?
Dobber also said that Turris is 5-7 years away. Considering that they are pretty close in the Top 200 prospects, does that mean that he is more of a sure thing than Brassard?
Considering that I\'m in no rush and that I can wait 5-7 years if Turris is the better of the two, who do you prefer?
Comments by Dobber and Buggs will be appreciate a lot.
Thanks in advance
Turris by 4 miles !
The thing is, if you have read the articles by Dobber and Buggs (at least that\'s what I remember), you would know that the experts believe Turris to have a higher upside. He\'s just more risky. I would keep Turris for sure because from what I have read, people think he has a chance to score 120 points in his prime.
I\'ve got them both!!!
I think Turris will be \'slightly\' better. I will say this though...Brassard\'s stock keeps rising all the time and he is set up perfectly in CLM.
After his performance in training camp, the good start in the AHL and Columbus\' need for a scoring center, I\'d say Brassard is really close to being in the NHL, perhaps as soon as this year. He\'ll definately get a call-up later this year and depending on how he does he could be there for good. Regardless, I think it\'s a safe bet to say he\'ll be on the opening night roster next year.

It does indeed. I\'d say it\'s down to a year and a half, if not some point this year.Dobber said that Brassard was 3 years away before training camp? Does it look closer now?
Not more of a sure thing, but he has such a higher ceiling that he gets the nod.Dobber also said that Turris is 5-7 years away. Considering that they are pretty close in the Top 200 prospects, does that mean that he is more of a sure thing than Brassard?
You\'re in the unique position of being able to wait, so I would say Turris hands, feet and whatever other body part down. He\'s a stud of the highest calibre.Considering that I\'m in no rush and that I can wait 5-7 years if Turris is the better of the two, who do you prefer?
Honestly you can\'t go wrong with either guy. Brassard will be in the sho earlier and playign with a stud, Nash to boot, but Turris has the higher upside and he will play as soon as next year if he wants to. I\'d be suprised if at their peaks that Turris is more than 10-15 pts better, really depends on his supposrting cast, Phoenix is a real joke right now, no direction, floundering
