Not sure about that Doulos - I think the odds of staying in one of the upper leagues are much better than actually getting to it. You have to beat 14 teams to claw your way up from entry to pro - you only have to beat 2 teams to stay in pro.

It's incredibly hard - I'm happy to have avoided relegation twice now. And if I ever play in the pro league I'm in trouble - those guys are hard core. I certainly need some luck on my side.
I pray that this year I don't pick first or second like the last two years. Those picks are cursed because I get stuck with the "leftovers" for goaltending.

Funny, a buddy of mine was complaining in a one year about getting the 11th pick. I told him be thankful it wasn't 1st, 2nd or 3rd - you get a goalie this way.

I have a dummy team in each of the entry leagues by the way and Danny Syrvet is on the top of my draft list. My first ranked goalie is Raycroft but if Cloutier gets a job it will be easy to swap the rank.
