I like the goalie cats. What would the 9 scoring cats be? Seems like alot.

I agree with mbice stats choices.. a split of 65/35 should be good. I would like forward stats something like... G, A, +/-, PIM, PPPs, SOG, SHP, FW... maybe either GWG or Points as the last one. GWG is a little random which is always fun/bad... the points category is kinda like a tie breaker between G and A... i always hate just splitting G and A...

As for moves in the playoffs, I am fine with 3 moves per week or only moves for IR players. And as for IR slots, I think 2 is enough... just dont draft Gaborik/Havlat/DiP lol.

I like points instead of faceoff wins. Just a preference. I also like the idea of GWG's as the last tie-breaker. Makes you think drafting finishers instead of playmakers in some spots, even though it is an EXTREMELY random category that cant really be planeed for.(unless you have Ovy)

Joos, I like your choice of stats. I've always played with GWG as a category. Is it random? Sometimes for sure it is. It kind of reinforces the need for goalscorers which SOG also does but getting shots is one thing and getting goals is another. I also like the idea that it encourages getting "clutch" players. While most GWG's are just random in occurence, some are literally the by-product of a star performing in the clutch. So that's how I rationalize having it as a category.

One more thought. On the IR slots, 2 should be plenty, if you need any more than that, you either drafted some risky ones, or got really unlucky. Either way I think it's reasonable that if you really want to keep all three guys that you just leave one on the bench or find a way to trade.

Im just fine with 2 IR slots also. Took a little time, but i've come around.

I still like FWs and one of points or GWG but I the majority wants points + GWG, I am fine with that.

I also dont mind PPG and PPA but then we want to keep it @ 9 stats so we would have to take out something else.

I don't agree with this. I thought we were trying to reduce redundant stats.

The two I do not mind changing is: FW or PTS for our 9th stat.

I like FW better than PTS. We already got G, A, PPP, SHP and GWG. If we add PTS that means 6 out of the 9 categories are points.

I dont see the need to have PPG & PPA when you could just have the all encompassing PP points. Like Nieuwendyk said, it's redundant. And I still MUCH prefer points to the FW category.

G,A,P,PPP,SHP,+/- & GWG are perfect if you ask me. We're gonna have to move on from this at some point or we're never gonna get this league started.

Hi guys, I dont think I will participate in the Pirate league this year. I'm gonna cut down on the number of pools I'm in.

Thanks tho and it was fun last year, so this league should be a good one again for those looking for a new league.
