Draft date is to be determined still I am sure.
The leagues has been a roto style league in the past. Last season FA pickups were done via a weekly blind auction. GMs were given a set amount of dollars for the whole season to bid on players and once that ran out it was done.
Perhaps there will be some changes to the setup this season but that's how it worked last year.
It was a really fun league and was laid back - not too crazy intense in terms of time committment.
Is there an entry fee and prize payout, or is it just a for-fun league?

to answer your question though... no... there is no entry fee... but there are prizes (t-shirts and fantasy packs have been awarded in the past).

I assume it will remain a free league, as it's basically a promotional league for Dobberhockey and to engage some folks in something fun.
It is competitive but for fun. The winners get glory and fame and if they are really lucky I imagine there might be some kind of Dobberhockey prizes of some sort. I am not guaranteeing that though as it isn't me that would have to provide the prizes
The Expert Tier is made up of Dobberhockey writers and those of us who have worked our way up into it by winning (or placing 2nd) in the Pro League in the past.
The Pro League was initially made up of some of the top posting members of the forum and includes those original membebrs plus those who won the Entry Division in the past. It also includes the two people who were bumped down from the Expert Division.
The Entry Division is the two who were bumped down from the Pro League + however the new people are included.

I really didn't enjoy the weekly lineup changes instead of daily last year. Please count me out of participating in this year's Expert league.
Too bad, I think you had some bad luck with injuries last year or else you would have been up near the top last season.

had nothing to do with my performance - just don't enjoy the league format. It's hard to hold my interest without daily changes. I'm making my spot available to someone who enjoys the type of league being offered here.
